My Story

How I Got Involved

My journey with the Town of Hampstead began in 2004, with my first job as a day camp councillor. I was a Lifeguard at Hampstead Pool in 2005 and 2006, the Assistant Pool Manager in 2007 and 2008, the Pool Manager from 2009 to 2012 and a City Councillor from 2013 to 2021. Needless to say, I've spent the past 16 years working in some capacity for the Town of Hampstead, and have been fortunate to make so many meaningful connections throughout that time (residents and town employees alike).

In 2012, I was asked to join the Hampstead Cetennial Committee to plan the town's 100 year celebration. This opened my eyes into how a city is run, and with the encouragement of many, I decided in 2013 to try my hand at Politics.

I could never have imagined how interesting and educational this process would be. The wide array of knowledge and work that goes into running a city, is beyond anything I envisioned, and I'm fortunate to have learned a lot throughout the past eight years. I'm also fortunate enough to have helped many Hampstead residents along the way.

In addition to representing you on Hampstead Council the past eight years, I'm also the Vice President at a Private Equity Real Estate Investment & Development firm and Family Office in Westmount. Bridging my experience in the Financial world, Real Estate space, and municipal governance has given me a unique outlook and approach to representing you on Council.
